Cougar

Last town on the south side of Mount St. Helens. Food, gifts, gas, lodging, helicopter tours, camping, fishing, and boating. Cougar is home to the Cougar Store and the Bronze Cougar created by R.W. Bane. Cougar is the community closest to both Mount St. Helens and the Cedar Flats Research Natural Area - a short loop trail through old-growth Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar.
