Other activities include ice skating (at Winthrop’s award-winner outdoor ice rink), sledding, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, backcountry skiing, heli-skiing and snowmobiling. In the summer visitors enjoy millions of acres of wild lands for hiking, biking, trail running, birding, rock climbing, camping, hunting, fishing and river rafting.
